Collection: The Slate River Clay Collection

I’m so excited to be sharing my Slate River Clay Collection of pottery!  Made from clay found less than 500 metres from where it is made and fired, it is truly a local product. When we discovered this clay, I had hoped it would be useable, but knew the odds were against it. Through much testing and some failures, I’ve been able to create a collection of beautiful pieces made with clay we dug on our property in the Slate River Valley in NorthWestern Ontario.

Locally made with local clay, it is truly exclusive.

Every item is unique, showcasing the beauty of the wild clay. Some pieces may have small stones or irregular surfaces which only enhances their charm, without compromising functionality.
