Collection: Brickyard Collection

I’m excited to share my Brickyard Collection! When we first started using our own clay, I dug (no pun intended!) into the history of our area. I had known that the ‘Secret’ lake around the corner had once been the quarry for the Rosslyn Brickyard and found out that it was used from 1976 until it closed. It was once a part of our farm and Gerald’s parents sold it to ThunderBrick (who operated the Rosslyn Brickyard at the time). We’re pretty confident that the clay we’re using is from the same deposit.

I’ve made this collection to celebrate and honour this part of our region’s rich history.
